My doctor wrote a prescription for medical equipment, will my insurance cover it?
Most insurance plans do cover Durable Medical Equipment. Contact one of our offices and we will be glad to verify your insurance coverage.

What should I do before I call Hometown Healthcare to order equipment?
Please make sure you have copies of all your insurance cards and a doctor’s prescription. If you are not going to file insurance, these items are unnecessary. Some equipment and supplies cannot be sold without a doctor’s prescription.

Can I pick up supplies at a store location?
It may take time to verify your insurance before your order can be dispensed. You will be required to sign documentation and you will need to pay the portion of the cost deemed necessary by your insurance before you can take your equipment.

Can you ship my order of supplies?
We ship CPAP supplies, enteral nutrition, incontinence, nebulizer medications and tracheotomy supplies to your home address. Most orders will ship the same day you order it, if received before 2:00 pm (CST) and would normally be delivered in 1-2 business days.

Can you automatically ship my supplies each month?
No. Resupplies are subject to rules and regulations dictated by your insurance and federal regulations. We will contact you each month via phone or email to confirm whether or not you would like another shipment.

Can you move or dispose of existing furniture when you deliver my new equipment?
Hometown Healthcare requires that your home be ready for your new equipment and that all obstructing furniture be removed before we arrive. If you are not ready when we arrive, we will have to reschedule your delivery for a different day.

Is Hometown Healthcare accredited?
Yes Hometown Healthcare is proudly accredited by Healthcare Quality Association Accreditation (HQAA).
